But, at these times, where there is so much economic crisis, it is very difficult to be the bread ‘provider’, let alone breadwinner.

Still, many males are earning more money working from home as compare to their female counterparts and even if not, they are making a vital difference in their child’s life by being with him/her in their most fragile age.

Although, many men need to consider carefully before opting to be a work-at-home father as doing personal and professional work at the same place requires a lot of multi-tasking. Also, fathers of infants usually shouldn’t meet with their clients at their home. Taking calls could be a more preferable option for them. Also, if a job demands more time than one can provide, then an application explaining the situation or a job change should be considered.

The increasing number of work from home fathers is causing a traditional gender switch in the society as many mothers desire to (and are capable of) work and earn for their family. At these times, the male members are expected to be more helping and understanding regarding the situation of their children.
